Since the end of the health crisis, this trend has stabilized, and today 26% of employees telework.<a href=\"https:\/\/egcmea.dev\/en\/publications\/studies\/telecommuting-under-the-microscope-the-key-to-better-decision-making\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" name=\"_ftnref1\">[1]<\/a>. While this practice has become increasingly popular, there are now a growing number of divergent opinions on the future of telecommuting and its real impact on employee performance and well-being. These questions, which are crucial to the future of organizations, deserve to be discussed on the basis of data rather than supposition: it has become necessary to take the heat out of the debate. As part of an assignment carried out for a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/egcmea.dev\/en\/sectors\/social-protection-insurance\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">insurer<\/a>\u00a0Eurogroup Consulting has designed a statistical model to objectivize the real impact of teleworking, dispel preconceived ideas and propose appropriate support measures.<\/p><p><a href=\"https:\/\/egcmea.dev\/en\/publications\/studies\/telecommuting-under-the-microscope-the-key-to-better-decision-making\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" name=\"_ftn1\">[1]<\/a>\u00a0DARES, 2024<\/p><p><br \/>What does the future hold for teleworking? What are the real effects on employee performance and well-being?<\/p><p>While some articles highlight the improved quality of life and flexibility made possible by teleworking, others insist on a supposed drop in productivity and team cohesion. Between these contradictory visions, the reality remains unclear for many decision-makers, who must work with their social partners to define tomorrow's work organization and employee experience.<\/p><p>In order to avoid basing decisions on feelings or unfounded beliefs, it is now crucial to objectively assess the real impact of this type of work organization.
