L\u2019offre de service y est par ailleurs g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement meilleure que sur les lignes traditionnelles.<\/p><p><strong>La rentabilit\u00e9 de l\u2019exploitation de ces lignes est par ailleurs consid\u00e9rablement am\u00e9lior\u00e9e<\/strong>, avec jusqu\u2019\u00e0 30% de d\u00e9penses op\u00e9rationnelles en moins. La diminution des temps d\u2019arre\u0302t a\u0300 quai, couple\u0301e a\u0300 la re\u0301duction du freinage fait du me\u0301tro automatique un syste\u0300me tre\u0300s rapide. Sur l\u2019e\u0301chantillon choisi, la moyenne des vitesses commerciales est de 36,3 km\/h.<\/p><p>Le m\u00e9tro automatique constitue \u00e9galement une\u00a0<strong>solution performante en mati\u00e8re d\u2019accessibilit\u00e9<\/strong>. Ainsi, la quasi-totalite\u0301 des lignes e\u0301tudie\u0301es disposent d\u2019un ascenseur a\u0300 chacune de ses stations, permettant un acce\u0300s aux quais aux personnes en fauteuils roulants ou \u00e0 mobilit\u00e9 r\u00e9duite. \u00c0 cela s\u2019ajoutent plusieurs initiatives visant a\u0300 ame\u0301liorer l\u2019accessibilite\u0301 et la se\u0301curite\u0301 des personnes en situation de handicap, telles que des places d\u00e9di\u00e9es ou des signaux lumineux.<\/p><p>Il appara\u00eet \u00e9galement que le choix de l\u2019usager concernant son mode de transport est fortement influenc\u00e9 par le confort apport\u00e9, la propret\u00e9 \u00e9tant un \u00e9l\u00e9ment-cl\u00e9.
