Restitution of the national consultation - Energy Sobriety

Energy sobriety is no longer a matter of choice. Faced with this reality, organizations, institutions and companies are committed to building concrete, sustainable solutions together with citizens. Lhe results of the national consultation : "How can we all work together to reduce our energy consumption?orchestrated by Make.orgwere revealed on March 22, in the presence of the French Minister for Energy Transition, Agnès Pannier-Runacher.

Our contribution to the urgent cause of energy sobriety

A total of 157,847 citizens and organizations took part, formulating over  5,332 proposals, generating a volume of over 1 million votes.

This major consultation is also an opportunity for Eurogroup Consulting to share its initiatives and commitments in favor of a energy sobriety sustainable development. As an independent French ETI specializing in a service business, our company also faces a number of challenges in the field of energy efficiency. These include adapting the way we do businessin a ongoing dialogue with our partners and customers concerning impact of the choices they make.

Our commitment to sustainable energy efficiency

For a socially responsible company like ours, taking part in these societal commitments in favor of sustainable energy sobriety means in particular :

  • Avoiding and reducing energy consumption linked to travel. In concrete terms, this means we give priority to public transport and encourage as much as possible the use of soft mobility.
  • Choosing to slow down the renewal of our IT and telephone equipment, in line with our charter responsible digital of which we are a signatory.
  • Raising the awareness of our employees and all our partners, customers and suppliers to reasoned use of digital technology.
  • Inventing new business models and supporting our customers through major transitions and transformations. This is also the meaning of our commitment to the Business for Climate Convention.
When it comes to energy sobriety, "the road to acceptability lies in taking on the responsibility of slowing down a little collectively, and accepting the consequences of this slowdown in the economic world".
